15 percent off discount for air ticket fare offered at Myanmar National Airlines' 70th Anniversary Travel Fair
Myanmar National Airlines’ 70th Anniversary
Travel Fair took place at Myanmar Plaza on Aug 25 and 26 from 10am to 7pm
offering 15 percent discount-based fare on the flight tickets for all
international and domestic destinations.
Featuring the very best of Myanmar
hospitality and service, MNA offered Business
Class, Premium Economy
Class and Economy
Class services on their flights
seamlessly connecting to 28 destinations around the country and five
international destinations with brand new aircraft: Boeing 737-800 NG; Embraer
190; ATR 72-600; and Caravan, and the baggage allowances starting from 20 kg
for domestic travels and from 30 kg for international travels.
Visitors to the event made payment
either in cash or with card in US dollar or Myanmar kyats during the travel
fair. There were also exclusive gifts for all ticket purchases and lucky draw
programme during the event.
According
to an official of MNA, there was no release in regard to the amount of money from
selling the flight tickets at the travel fair.
“There
was only the press release on the travel fair. How many tickets were sold and
how much amount of the cash from selling the tickets is are just an internal
office matter.
There was no release of statement about it,” said the official.
Additionally,
MNA also announced that those who missed the event during the set duration could
buy the discount based tickets for the said flights until midnight on August 28
through its website.
Myanmar
National Airlines is the national flag
carrier of Myanmar and has the most extensive route network within the country. The airline has been in existence
for over 65 years since it was established in 1945 in the name of Union of
Burma Airways. It is the oldest and most experienced airlines in Asia.
Currently, MNA operates 28 domestic flights and overseas flights to Singapore,
Hong Kong, Bangkok, Phuket, Bodh Gaya, and Chiang Mai.
